On January 3, 2019, the MIIT issued the Requirements for the Access Examination of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and the Requirements for the Access Examination of Road Motor Vehicle Products, which are the supporting implementation documents of the Measures for the Administration of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Product Access (Decree No. 50 of the Ministry of Industry and Information, hereinafter referred to as the “Management Measures”), and will be implemented simultaneously on June 1, 2019.            On November 27, 2018, the MIIT issued the Regulations on Management, which stipulated the basic conditions, review process and procedures for applying for the access of road motor vehicle production enterprises and products, and defined the next steps to promote the reform of vehicle access management. “Requirements for Enterprise Access Review” is divided into three parts: general requirements, capability requirements and principles for examination and determination of admission permits; General requirements formulate uniformly common requirements for vehicle manufacturers in terms of policy conformity, product after-sales service capabilities; and capacity requirements include vehicle manufacturers in accordance with passenger cars, trucks, buses, special vehicles, motorcycles, trailers, etc. According to their different characteristics, six types of production enterprises have formulated specific requirements concerning product designRead More →
