On June 28th, China officially passed and issued the Foreign Relations Law, which will come into effect from July 1, 2023. The Foreign Relations Law, for the first time in legal form, specifies the purpose and conditions of the extraterritorial application of Chinese law, which will establish a basic framework for the extraterritorial application of Chinese law. China will strengthen countermeasures and restrictions against foreign countries, individuals or organizations.
