On July 3, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the Comprehensive Control Scheme for Volatile Organic Compounds in Key Industries. The plan points out that by 2020, the establishment and improvement of VOCs pollution prevention and control management system will achieve remarkable results in VOCs control in key regions and key industries, and to accomplish the target task of reducing VOCs emissions by 10% determined in the 13th Five-Year Plan, and to coordinate the control of greenhouse gas emissions and promote the continuous improvement of environmental air quality.
