China implements certificate for edible agricultural products

The Ministry of agriculture and rural areas issued the implementation plan of national pilot edible agricultural product certificate system, proposing to establish and improve the national edible agricultural product certificate system within three years to strengthen self-management of production management, breeding process control, pesticide and veterinary drug residue self-inspection, product listing, problem product traceability, etc. The certificate refers to the quality and safety certificate issued by the producer for the edible agricultural products sold, indicating the name of the edible agricultural products, the quantity (weight), the information of the planting and breeding producers, and the issuing date.
