China compulsory certification for brake linings of automobile

On April 20, the General Administration of Market Regulation issued a notice that since June 1, 2020, the brake lining products for automobiles will be subject to China compulsory certification management and the production license system will be cancelled. Before June 1, 2021, the brake lining products produced by domestic enterprises shall be delivered, sold or used in other business activities with valid production license or CCC certification.
