The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transportation have issued a plan to accelerate the implementation of electronic non-stop toll collection service on expressways. By the end of October, all lanes have ETC service functions. By the end of December, the number of ETC users exceed 180 million and ETC is installed in all expressway toll station. Freight cars are charged without stopping, and the rate of non-stop toll collection on expressways is more than 90%. All manual toll lanes support electronic toll collection such as mobile payment.
Researches and develops multi-functional integrated terminal which combines with vehicle electronic products such as driving recorder and intelligent rearview mirror.
Starting from July 1, 2020, ETC on-board devices should be added to the selection and assembly of new vehicle models for users to choose and assemble independently. By the end of December this year, ETC terminal will be installed and used for passenger vehicles, rental vehicles and road freight vehicles.
